Nifty move from Java Dance
We’re so glad to announce that Java Dance Theatre are coming back on board this August for a three week run at the Edinburgh Fringe!
This will be the third time we have collaborated with New Zealand based Sacha Copland and her talented team of dancers and actors. The last two runs of Back of the Bus sold out every show.
Java Dance describe it like this: “Physical comedy, pure kinetic energy and outrageous scenarios combine to create a magical mystery tour of the unexpected. Fresh from sell-out seasons in Edinburgh in 2014 and 2016, following 16 sell-out New Zealand and Australian arts festivals. 5 star reviews from Broadway Baby (Edinburgh), GlamAdelaide, Buzzcuts, Krystoff Raw. 4 star reviews from The Scotsman, Fringe Guru and The Mumble.”
It all takes place on the top deck of our original Routemaster, on the move through central Edinburgh and with a few surprise stops. It is tremendous fun for all ages, very amusing and uplifting.
This year, as before, there will be two performances a day – late afternoon and early evening, with tickets available from the central booking system at the Edinburgh Fringe. Full details will be announced as soon as we have them!
